Participation

Submissions of three types will be considered: technical papers, posters, and demos. Details are given in the sections below.

Workshop topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

  • Automatic detection of projector, camera and surface characteristics
  • Multi-view geometry applied to projectors and cameras
  • Geometric and photometric calibration
  • Radiometric compensation
  • Novel user-interfaces
  • People sensing
  • Environment modeling
  • Immersive and interactive displays
  • Application experiences
  • Architecture of projector-camera systems
  • Computer vision in the presence of projected information
  • Steerable projectors
  • Virtual keyboards
  • Novel applications
  • Projector-camera-based art
  • Historical or cultural exploration/preservation
  • Projector-camera supported computational photography

Technical Papers

We encourage the submission of technical papers for oral presentation. If your paper could be accompanied by a hands-on demonstration, we encourage you to also submit a separate technical demonstration proposal (see below). Paper submissions not accepted for a full oral presentation might be offered the opportunity for a poster presentation.

Submissions can be up to 8 pages in length. They should be "camera ready" PDF files (only) with full author names and affiliations (reviews are not blind), prepared in the CVPR format.

Include supplemental pictures and/or video if appropriate and possible. Videos should be in a common format, e.g., MPEG-1, MPEG-4, XviD, or DivX.

Proceed to the Online Submission System

Submission Deadline: March 22, 2007 (midnight EST)
Notification: April 12, 2007
Final Manuscripts: April 23, 2007 (midnight EST)

Please use the IEEE copyright form. Authors of accepted papers must mail the completed copyright from to IEEE (address included in the form).

Posters

We invite the submission of two-page proposals for technical or art-related poster presentations. Posters might describe recently completed work, work in progress, or publicly presentable ideas for unimplemented and/or unusual systems or applications.

Posters are limited to 2-pages and should describe innovative and emerging ideas in the area of projector-camera systems. Accepted poster papers will require that at least one author attends the workshop to present the poster in an open poster session. Submissions can be up to 2 pages in length. They should be "camera ready" PDF files (only) with full author names and affiliations (reviews are not blind), prepared in the CVPR format.

Poster submissions will be made by email.

Deadline for camera-ready posters: April 23, 2007 (midnight EST)
Notification: April 30, 2007

Please use the IEEE copyright form. Authors of accepted posters must mail the completed copyright from to IEEE (address included in the form).

Note: We will ask authors to explicitly commit to personally attend the workshop to present accepted posters, or to arrange for a suitable replacement presenter.

Technical and Artistic Demonstrations

We invite proposals for technical and artisic demonstrations during the planned demonstration/exhibit session. Researchers with accepted demonstrations may be awarded a limited grant to help defray related expenses. Awards will be based on needs and available funds.

Demo sketches are limited to 2-pages and should describe innovative and emerging ideas in the area of projector-camera systems. Accepted demo sketches will require that at least one author attends the workshop to present the poster in an open poster session. Submissions can be up to 2 pages in length. They should be "camera ready" PDF files (only) with full author names and affiliations (reviews are not blind), prepared in the CVPR format.

Demo sketch submissions will be made by email.

Deadline for camera-ready demo sketches: April 23, 2007 (midnight EST)
Notification: April 30, 2007

Please use the IEEE copyright form. Authors of accepted demos must mail the completed copyright from to IEEE (address included in the form).

Note: We will ask authors to explicitly commit to personally attend the workshop to present accepted technical or artistic demonstrations, or to arrange for a suitable replacement presenter.
