Call for Papers

Areas of interest

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

Dates

The dates for submissions are given below. Notification of acceptance for CVPR is on Friday, February 25, 2005, so be quick if you think your paper is suitable for Procams.

Format

Each paper will be allocated approximately 40MB for the paper and additional materials.

Papers must be formatted according the standard IEEE 2-column guidelines (identical to CVPR 2005 papers) and may be up to 8 pages in length. Procams 2005 reviews are not double-blind, so paper submissions need not be anonymized.

Authors are encouraged to submit additional materials such as videos. Papers should be submitted as PDF files.

Papers not accepted for an oral presentation will be considered for presentation as posters. There will be a best paper award. Also, papers with a full-time student as a the first author and which have been primarily written by students will be eligible for the best student paper award - authors should indicate the student status using the relevant field on the online submission site.

Dual submissions

We welcome submissions simultaneously being considered for other journals, conferences, and symposiums (but not workshops) or unpublished papers that may be submitted to future journals, conferences, and symposiums. If accepted, these papers will be treated as 'Extended Abstracts' but will get the same time as other oral presentations.

These papers should be clearly marked as 'Dual Submissions' in the title. Also, in the 'Comments to Chair' field on the online submission site please indicate again that it is a dual submission, and give the details of the other journal, conference, or symposium to which it is being sent. These papers will go through the default review process.

Submission procedure

Sumbission is now closed

All submissions will be handled electronically. Papers and additional materials should be combined into a single zip file and uploaded together.

You may make your entire submission at one time, or you can submit the meta data first (author details, abstract, etc.), and the full paper later. There are separate deadlines for abstracts and full papers, given above. You may change abstract multiple times up to the abstract deadline. You may submit the full paper multiple times up to the full paper deadline - each time the previous file will be overwritten.

If your paper is accepted for Procams please upload the final (camera-ready) version to the online submission site using the same paper id and password you used for the original submission. The deadline for camera ready versions is April 10, 2005.
